My first draft for the "Draw Jared Week"...I'm not happy with it and I don't know if I will work on it some more, or if I will start a complete new drawing. :/

i LOVE your work! It's always amazing!! The shading in this picture <3 The detail to eyes <3 his hair <3 basically everything <3 You - i don't know how to say this, your drawings are always brilliant!! Your talent is one of a million! HOW did you learn to even draw like this?? How DO you draw like this!!??
It looks fantastic! Great job. You should keep working on it. I think the only issue is his lips, they look a tad off, but that's all. I could really only notice that when I looked for mistakes, overall it is still very nice.
When I saw you mention that you weren't happy with it, I decided to have a quick peek at your gallery and work therein and I can say only one thing- it's amazing.
You have such a brilliant pencil style. I love how you use small amounts of shading to create such emphasis and depth in your work, equally how you manage to retain recognisable features even with a small amount of linework and shading. I think, personally, that this piece is a rather nice one. I recognised him straight away (even though I'm not one hundred percent familiar with Jared) and agree that, yes, there are a few parts, like the nose and the lips mostly, which do take the edge off of the piece a little- but otherwise it has a really good potential to look amazing when finished. I would ask only, if you are willing to, to try and finish it, as I'm sure it will end up looking really good and be another highlight in your gallery.
I really do love this style though. The rich tonal differences, the shading style, the composition, your range of realism to stylised linework etc. Beautiful. Every single line is beautiful.
