that's very cool! haven't seen the movie yet, but I will once it comes out on DVD, hopefully. I like the initial underdrawing, especially the detail you put into it. ^^ wish I had that much talent with shading, though..... all mine comes out monotone, with very little contrast for some reason.... O_o
Thank you very much. I think I spend to much time on the "underdrawing" as you call it. And less time on finishing it. I d have a thing for scribbles, but I train myself to do "more" with my scribbles. :/
Good shading is just a question of training and not talent, that certainly is a skill you can learn, believe me! And a tip about the contrast thing...try using different types of pencils...work from soft to hard and you will get your contrast!
even working hard to soft it seems to do that, even with different hardnesses of pencils.... I guess I'll just have to keep trying! practice, practice, practice, just like everything else. it seems that the only contrast problems I have are in black and white, while color is all right.... sometimes I wish that I could change my vision to black and white for a time to get used to the color thing! oh, well. I understand what you mean about finishing the initial drawing.... I tend to do that, which explains why I have so little on my page (well, and dialup as well)
It's good.

I always wanted to try those kind of drawings!!
